Get a hundred learners into a program in,a single action
Onboarding a new class, a corporate team or a fresh cohort should not be a hundred clicks. With Bulk Enrollment, you select the program, you pick the people, and Edushade enrolls everyone in one move — sending the right welcome to each learner, telling the instructor a new group is in, and giving you a clean report of who got in and who didn't, with the reason.
Designed for the way real onboarding actually happens
Bulk enrollment isn't a separate workflow you have to learn. It lives inside the same admin you use every day. Pick a program, pick the people, set an expiry if the access is time-limited, and you're done. Everything that fires for a single enrollment still fires for every learner in the batch.
One Action, Hundreds of Learners
Up to a thousand learners in a single batch. Pick from your existing user list, or invite new people first — either way, one button finishes the job.
Works Across Every Program Type
Drop a batch into a course, a learning path or a cohort. The same flow, the same form, regardless of which program shape you're filling.
Time-Limited Access If You Need It
Need access to expire on a date? Add the expiry once at the batch level and every learner inherits it. Skip it and access stays open.
Smart Skip on Conflicts
If a learner is already enrolled, or already in a different cohort of the same program, they're skipped with a clear reason — the rest of the batch still goes through.
All the Right Notifications
Every learner gets the same welcome email a single enrollment would send. The instructor hears about the new group. A bulk-created event fires for any system that wants to listen.
A Clean Report Every Time
When the batch finishes, you get a count of who's in, who isn't, and a per-person reason for each skip. No guessing, no spreadsheet diffing.
Pick the program, pick the people, you're done
Open the program in admin, jump to the Enrollments tab, hit Bulk Enroll. Search and select learners from your user list, paste in a comma-separated set of IDs, or filter by something useful and select all. If access should expire on a date, set it once for the whole batch. Hit Enroll. The platform takes it from there.

Conflicts get a sensible answer, not a hard stop
Real lists are messy. Some people are already enrolled. Some are in another cohort of the same program. Some accounts aren't ready yet. Edushade walks through the batch one learner at a time and only skips the ones with a real conflict — the rest still get enrolled. You see exactly who landed, who didn't, and why.
Already enrolled? Skipped with a clear reason
Already in another cohort of the same program? Skipped with a clear reason
Account in a non-active state? Skipped with a clear reason
Everyone else gets enrolled — no all-or-nothing failure
Notifications fire just like a single enrollment
Bulk doesn't mean silent. Every learner in the batch gets the same enrollment-created email, in-app alert, SMS or push that a one-by-one enrollment would have triggered — in their language, with their content. The instructor gets a heads-up that the cohort grew. A bulk-created event fires too, in case another system in your stack wants to act on it.
Personalized welcome to every learner — email, SMS, in-app, push
Heads-up to the instructor that the program just gained learners
A separate bulk-created event for downstream automations
Templates are the same ones you've already tuned for single enrollments
Bulk operations don't stop at enrolling
Once people are in, the same batch tools handle the rest of the work. Update enrollments in bulk — extend access, change a status, set a new expiry. Export the entire enrollment table to a CSV for an external system or an audit. Delete a batch when a program retires. The right people, in the right state, with one move.
Bulk update — change status or extend access for a whole batch
Bulk export — full enrollment data to CSV in one click
Bulk delete — clean retirement when a program closes
For scholarships, batch eligibility checks across every applicant
From a fresh list to a fully onboarded class
It's three steps and around a minute. The form is the same one your admin team already knows from single-learner enrollment — just with a multi-select on the people side.
Open the program and hit Bulk Enroll
From the course, learning path or cohort detail in admin, jump to the Enrollments tab. The Bulk Enroll button sits next to the standard Add Learner button — same form, multi-select people picker.
Pick your people, set your expiry
Search by name, email or unique ID. Multi-select what you need. Want access to expire on a specific date? Set it once at the batch level. Skip it and the group has open-ended access.
Enroll, then read the report
Hit Enroll. When it finishes, you'll see how many learners landed, how many were skipped, and a per-person reason for every skip. Every learner who made it in gets a welcome message right away.
